Support
Service Level Agreement
Virtually all diocesan schools are a part of the Service Level Agreement, this entitles you to free advisory visits, Diocesan RE INSET, online resources and local RE Partnership networks. Your school will be allocated an advisor; our advisory team this year includes Dr John Lally, Fr Jonathan Veasey, Clive Wright (Bishop Walsh, Sutton Coldfield) and Sarah Boyle (Cardinal Newman, Coventry). It may be the case, however, that another member of the team may have specific expertise in which case you are welcome to book a visit with the appropriate person.
Local RE Partnerships
Each area of the diocese has a local Catholic RE partnership that meets regularly; we encourage all schools to be represented at the meetings as they provide a valuable opportunity to share good practice and network with colleagues. The dates for these meetings are included in this letter; the venues will be published on the website.
RE Meetings and Training days
Each term heads of RE or other members of the RE department meet to discussion curriculum issues and receive support and training. The dates of these meetings are also included. We are keen to invite practitioners to lead sessions at these meetings: if you, or someone in your department, has an idea that you would be keep to share with colleagues, we would be happy to incorporate the input into one of the meetings.
RE-live
RE-Live is the new resources site for the department. Any Primary or Secondary RE teachers (As part of the SLA) can

have access to the site but need a password and user name available from the department. The only request we have is that teachers add as much as they contribute. For further information contact
Clive Wright or
Sarah Boyle part of the secondary advisory team.
